Dogpatch is the only neighborhood in San Francisco
without a playground. Isn't it time we changed that?
A group of neighbors and parents are working with San Francisco's Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) and the San Francisco Parks Alliance to build a new playground at SFMTA's Woods Mini-Park on 22nd Street. While SFMTA is giving us permission to build the playground, it's up to the community to raise private funds to pay for the playground equipment, benches, fencing, lighting and irrigation. Our goal is to raise $106,000 from individuals, local businesses and grant-making organizations to complete the playground.
We can't break ground until we have the entire $106,000 raised.
